Multnomah Sits Atop NAIA Stats

Last year's doormat in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, the Multnomah Lions, have maximized college basketball's new transfer portals, extended eligibility rules, and recruitment tools, to forge a new identity near the top of current NAIA basketball statistics.

As of 12/6/21, Multnomah ranks:

6th in the nation in points per game

5th in the nation in rebounds per game

5th in the nation in assists per game

2nd in the nation in 3 pt baskets pg

Led by center Tyrese Taylor and junior guard Zach Richardson, the Lions currently sport 6 players in double-figure scoring for the year.

Quite a reversal for a team that won just one game all last season.
